Launched and managed SC Johnson's first digital corporate presence via Facebook to establish the company's social media brand as well as build awareness of their commitment to become the most globally trusted consumer packaged goods (CPG) company.
Facebook content creation
As a copywriter, I worked on various evergreen and campaign specific content creation, focusing on copywriting but also editing photos occasionally. I saw the content through the entire process, including community management. Our results spoke for themselves:
- 4.5MM+ Facebook engagements
- 760MM+ Facebook impressions
- 106K+ Facebook fans gained in 8 months
- 250MM+ people reached globally
- 1,500 hours of community engagement

stopmotion video creation
Myself, along with 2 of my colleagues, worked on a variety of stop motion videos for SC Johnson, including the ones shown here. This work launched the stop-motion offering at Edelman. My role was different in each video, from brainstorming ideas, storyboarding, set up, directing, filming to editing. Our work with SC Johnson won two Silver Addy’s, in 2016 and in 2017.
REAL-time content & community management: giveaway
One of the first projects I worked on for SCJ was working their “Thanksgathering” Facebook Giveaway. This giveaway was timed around Thanksgiving and engaged users to share who they wanted to spend Thanksgiving with, in order to win a gift card for $1000 to travel to family for the holidays. Giveaway posts gathered hundreds of responses, requiring many Community Management hours and work. As we continued in the process, I worked with a team member to create a Community Management guide specific for this event, so that we could streamline work and focus more on the engaging posts and find stories we could use for UGC and real-time content. We worked collaboratively to cover not only this community management but to post real-time content in regards to the SCJ CEO being on Ellen in relation to this giveaway.
